Ureaplasma has been linked to a variety of medical problems, including bacterial vaginosis (BV). It contributes to the fishy odor of BV due to ammonia release.
It is harder to clear than the common BV cause Gardnerella vaginalis.
Only 4 top levels of NeuEve products may clear it. Silver (okay), Gold (good), BV Clear (better) and BV Clear Finisher (best).
If you are premenopausal or younger than 45 and you are not on birth control, IUD, or breastfeeding, or do not have hysterectomy or cancer therapy, you can start using BV Clear and move up to BV Clear Finisher if necessary for clearing your BV and Ureaplasma.
If you are postmenopausal and have vaginal atrophy, you can start with the mild Silk and work your way up to these levels to achieve a total clearance of Ureaplasma.
How to tell if it works in clearing Ureaplasma?
You can tell by if your BV related fishy odor is gone after using the product. Once your are odor free, you will know that Ureaplasma is reduced. If it does not come back for a few weeks, you will know that it is completely cleared.
Please move your product levels up from mild to strong gradually based on your age.
Please do not try the top level first. It may cause burning or irritation in women who are postmenopausal due to vaginal atrophy.
