Is using BV Clear the same thing as going to the doctor?

I am 26 and have recurrent BV. Is using BV Clear the same thing as going to the doctor?

This is a good question.

For many diseases, you need to see a doctor to get a diagnosis and treatment with drugs.

But for some diseases or health conditions, drugs may not always be the best solution.

For example, dehydration may happen in the hot summertime after sweating without drinking water. If the condition is severe, it can be fatal. The best treatment is not a drug. It is drinking water. Water is not a drug, but it can heal potentially deadly dehydration effectively and safely without any side effects.

When you have dehydration, you will know it because you will be thirsty. You do not need to see a doctor for diagnosis and for getting a prescription drug to cure your dehydration. You will look for water to quench your thirst. You can find relief all by yourself.

This means that for certain diseases and health conditions, you may find the best solution by yourself without going to a doctor.

Drugs often have side effects and may not be always effective for certain health conditions.

Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is one such health condition. Many women with BV suffer from frequent recurrences after using antibiotics. Antibiotics are drugs. They can clear BV but cannot be used for health maintenance when you do not have an infection. Thus, after antibiotic treatment, BV often comes back due to a lack of health maintenance.

NeuEve is a natural product, not a drug. It can be used to clear BV and for maintenance to stop BV from coming back. Thus, tens of thousands of women who used antibiotics to treat their BV but failed have used NeuEve and found ultimate relief.

Before you decide to do self-care for your BV, it is important to get a good diagnosis. Many of our customers have obtained a diagnosis from their doctor's office or from a lab test that their condition is BV. Their problem is that antibiotics prescribed by their doctors cannot clear their BV or cannot stop it from coming back.

If you do not have a diagnosis from a doctor, you may self-diagnose it.

First, the most common symptoms of BV are a fishy odor and clear or grayish discharge. If you can smell a fishy odor from your discharge, it is an indication that you may have BV.

Second, an indication of BV is increased vaginal pH. If your pH is above 4.5, you may have BV, but if your pH is below 4.5, you may not have BV. Your infection could be yeast or something else.

You may follow this instruction detailed in this article to measure vaginal pH: How to measure vaginal pH?
