Can NeuEve be used by women with active breast cancer?

NeuEve is all-natural, hormone-free, herb-free, soy-free, and yam-free.

It works by providing essential nutrients to the atrophied vaginal soft tissue.

Essential nutrients include vitamins and minerals.

Without these nutrients in the diet, humans cannot survive. Therefore, NeuEve is safe.

Unlike dietary supplements, NeuEve delivers these nutrients topically to the atrophied vaginal tissue, much like a nutrient cream for preventing wrinkles on the face (atrophy of the skin).

To date, thousands of breast cancer survivors have used NeuEve and found relief. They started using NeuEve after they had completed their cancer treatment and their cancers were in remission.

However, if you are still under treatment for an active cancer or your cancer is not yet in full remission, we do not know if you can apply NeuEve to ease vaginal atrophy and dryness.

Since NeuEve is hormone-free and is applied topically, it may not interfere with common breast cancer treatment. However, we are not familiar with your specific cancer treatment, so we do not know if applying NeuEve may cause any interference.

We recommend that you consult your doctor, the oncologist who is providing your cancer treatment.

If your doctor says that it is OK to use NeuEve before your treatment is completed, you are okay to use it.

However, if your treatment has been completed and your cancer is in remission, you can use NeuEve without any worries.

Tips about using the Salve (Balm Cream)

  1. Regarding how much Salve to use, the recommended amount to start is a tiny amount, such as a light touch of the fingertip or a grain of rice-sized amount to the affected area to test your sensitivity. If you can tolerate the product, you can gradually increase the amount. Otherwise, use a reduced amount. With repeated applications, your tolerance will increase, allowing you to tolerate a higher amount. However, a pea-sized amount is the largest amount you will need. Some customers were too eager to find relief and used too much of the salve, experiencing burning. So, please do not overapply. Start with a tiny amount of the salve to test your sensitivity first.
  2. About how many times and where you can use the Salve, you may find this article helpful: Do I apply the cream outside or inside the vagina? Can I use it more than once a day?
  3. If you're concerned about the possibility of an allergy, you may find this article helpful: I may be allergic to the cream (Salve-Gentle). It caused burning, and I cannot use it anymore.

Tips about using the Suppository and Salve:

If you have painful sex and ordered both the Salve-Gentle and Velvet suppositories, start with the Salve-Gentle first to test your sensitivity. Once you can tolerate the tiny amount of Salve-Gentle, apply it daily for a few days, increasing the amount to boost your tolerance. Once you can tolerate a pea-sized Salve-Gentle without a problem, you can start using the suppository. This may take a few days or weeks. Please do not start the suppository before using the Salve. This could cause burning and intolerance due to the higher dosage of the suppository.

Tips about using dilators:

1) Avoid overstretching. Understandably, one may wish to move up the sizes quickly to get a more rapid recovery. However, this can be counterproductive. The recovery of vaginal atrophy is a slow process. Moving up the dilator sizes too quickly or skipping sizes can cause overstretching, which in turn can tear the atrophied tissue, potentially leading to injuries. Please do not skip the sizes and try the largest dilator first. Please be patient and complete the exercise in a stepwise manner to avoid potential injuries due to overstretching. Please give one size dilator at least 3-4 weeks to allow tissue to catch up to the growth before moving up to the next size.

2) Preventing UTI. Physically, a dilation exercise is like sexual intercourse. The penetration movement can mobilize bacteria normally present on the skin into the bladder, causing a UTI. You will need to pee immediately after each exercise to prevent UTI. Urination can flush out any bacteria that entered the bladder during the dilation exercise. Therefore, drinking a lot of water before exercise helps build up urination flushing pressure and prevent UTIs.
