How to manage Lactobacillus iners-related cytolytic vagnosis (CV)

If your lab test shows that you have 95% - 100% of Lactobacillus species, among which, L. iners is a major or the only species, and your major symptoms are burning, irritation, and white or cottage cheese-like discharge, and you do not have a yeast infection, you may have a condition called Lactobacillus iners-related cytolytic vaginosis (CV). Your burning symptoms are caused by not only concentrated lactic acid, but also a cytotoxin called inerolysin, secreted from L. iners.

Here’s a recommended product:

  1. CV Ease: Start with 1 pack of CV Ease (CV Clear) to help alleviate the burning associated with CV. You can find it here.
  2. AV Clear (AV NIL)*: After using CV Ease, your discomfort may subside, and you can start with 3 packs of AV Clear (AV NIL) to suppress L. iners. It’s advisable to begin with a half suppository to minimize the risk of any burning sensations caused by CV-related tissue damage. This gradual approach will allow your body to adjust more comfortably.
  3. NeuEveSilver(age <55) or** Silk (age >55) for health maintenance**: To gradually replace the harmful Lactobacillus iners with beneficial Lactobacillus species to achieve balance, you can take NeuEve Silver or Silk for routine health maintenance. Follow the suggestions on the package. One pack provides a one-month supply.
  4. NeuEve brand probiotics. On days when you are not using a suppository, you can insert a probiotic capsule vaginally to help balance your vaginal microbiome. Please note, while these pills are designed to be taken orally, they can be used vaginally to achieve more direct benefits. To replace L. iners, you will need to insert it vaginally on days when you are not using a suppository during maintenance.

*Decide how many packs of AV Clear I need: (i) Never treated this condition before, you may have a mild case, and 1 pack may be sufficient. (ii) Treated it with 1 other product before, but it has failed to provide relief. You may have a moderate case, and 2 packs may be needed. (iii) Treated it with 2+ other products before, but all have failed to provide relief. You may have a severe case, and 3 or more packs may be needed to clear your stubborn bacteria. If you cannot decide, start with 3 packs. If you find relief before you complete all 3 packs, you can store the unused product in a refrigerator for future use. If 3 packs are not sufficient to help you find relief, you may need more packs to clear your L. iners.

Monitor Your Symptoms: It's crucial to pay attention to how your body responds to these treatments. If you experience any persistent discomfort, please don’t hesitate to reach out for further guidance.
