A Pap smear, also called a Pap test, is a procedure to test for cervical cancer in women.
A Pap smear involves collecting cells from your cervix — the lower, narrow end of your uterus that's at the top of your vagina. Detecting cervical cancer early with a Pap smear gives you a greater chance at a cure.
Using NeuEve cannot change the cells in the cervix. It may not interfere the result of a Pap Test.
If your Pap Test is abnormal now, you will need to retest it regularly to monitor the progress. However, if you use NeuEve for a long term (>1 year), an abnormal Pap test may become normal as NeuEve may push out infected HPV.
Before you visit your doctor for a Pap Test, it would be a good idea to leave 1 week of time after using a NeuEve suppository to allow a flushing period to clean all the residual ingredients of NeuEve. Then, you will not need to worry about any interference, if any.
If you just use the NeuEve vulva balm cream, you do not need to worry about it because you only use it on the outside. It will not interfere with the Pap test on the tissue inside.
