Study of UM-Clear for Clearing Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma-related Vaginosis

What is Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma-related Vaginosis?

Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma-related vaginosis is a vaginal dysbiosis characterized by symptoms such as vaginal odor, discharge, burning, and irritation. These symptoms are like those of bacterial vaginosis (BV), but typical treatments for BV, such as metronidazole, are ineffective. The vaginal microbiome lab test shows the presence of Ureaplasma and/or Mycoplasma, both of which belong to the Mollicutes class. This class of bacteria does not have a cell wall and can live in human cells as a parasite. Unlike regular bacteria that have cell walls, Ureaplasma and Mycoplasma are highly resistant to antibiotics. This condition is often discovered by a vaginal microbiome test.

Why Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma Is Hard to Treat

Ureaplasma and Mycoplasma are difficult to treat because they lack a cell wall, making common antibiotics like penicillin completely ineffective. They further evade treatment by hiding inside host cells, forming protective biofilms, and rapidly developing genetic resistance to the few specialized antibiotics (like Azithromycin) that remain. Additionally, their slow growth rate and frequent re-infection between partners often lead to persistent or recurring infections. Right now, there are no reliable treatments specifically made for Ureaplasma and Mycoplasma. NeuEve AV Clear has helped many women find relief. However, results can vary, and some women may need repeated treatments, which can increase both the cost and the time it takes to feel better.

What is UM-Clear?

UM-Clear is a vaginal suppository designed to clear Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma-related vaginosis. Made with natural, food-grade ingredients, it contains carefully selected nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and herbal supplements. It selectively feeds the competing Lactobacillus bacteria to push out the unwanted Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma.

Study Details

  • Eligibility: Women with Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma, aged 18–70, otherwise healthy (no cancer, organ transplants, pregnancy, or breastfeeding), and residing in the U.S.
  • Cost: A $120 deposit is required to ensure study completion. One pack of UM-Clear costs $82 for 6 suppositories, and 1 bottle of 60 Vaginal Probiotic pills costs $38. After completing the study and submitting feedback plus an after-treatment microbiome test from the same lab from which you got the first test, you will be refunded $120, making the net product cost zero.
  • Diagnosis: Participants must have a diagnosis of Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma based on a lab test report.
  • Tracking: Record daily symptom changes in a journal using a few words with a simple template table.
  • Study Duration: 12 days. Insert a UM-Clear suppository on the first day, and insert a Vaginal Probiotic capsule the next day, and repeat it 6 times for a total of 12 days.
  • Product Use: Use only the new product UM-Clear and the NeuEve brand Vaginal Probiotic capsules for the study to clear Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma. However, if you are taking medicines for other conditions like diabetes, hypertension, or arthritis, you may continue using them. For clearing the vaginal Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma condition, you must use UM-Clear and the NeuEve brand Vaginal Probiotic, not other vaginal care products, no antibiotics.
  • Benefits of Joining: You may have the opportunity to clear stubborn Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma at no cost when other treatments have failed. If it doesn’t work the first time, you can join additional rounds of the study for free until your Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma symptoms subside. By participating, you’ll help develop the first natural product dedicated to Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma relief and contribute to advancing women's health.
  • Sign Up: We are accepting 10 volunteers on a first-come, first-served basis. If interested, email us at help@neueve.com.
