*The Challenge*
Lichen sclerosus (LS) is a chronic, inflammatory condition causing thinning, white patches, and intense itching in the genital areas. It is notoriously difficult to treat because it often requires lifelong, high-potency steroids. However, long-term steroid use can lead to permanent skin thinning (atrophy), easy bruising, and systemic issues like adrenal suppression.
*A Natural Alternative: Zinc Salve*
NeuEve is developing *Zinc Salve*, a non-steroidal, extra-strength formula designed for severe flare-ups. Zinc oxide creates a physical barrier against irritants like urine and sweat while its anti-inflammatory properties soothe redness, heal skin tears, and prevent painful tissue fusing.
*Study Details*
We are seeking *10 U.S. volunteers* (women, ages 18–70) with a doctor-confirmed LS diagnosis to participate in a 10-day trial.
- *Protocol: Apply a pea-sized amount daily for 10 days. Participants must use only* the Zinc Salve for LS during this period (no steroids).
- *Tracking:* Record daily symptoms in a simple provided journal template.
- *Cost: A $30 deposit is required for the 10-day supply. This is fully refunded* upon completion and feedback, making the final cost $0.
- *Benefit:* Access to a natural management option at no cost and help advance women’s health. If symptoms persist, you may join subsequent rounds for free.
*How to Join*
Participants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If interested, please email *help@neueve.com*.
